Parker has Surgery

So yesterday was exciting!
Many of you are asking about the details so here is the fun story.
Yesterday Parker was playing and having a lot of fun in his room.  He has been trying to walk with all his might and has been practicing by holding on to furniture and walls (as shown below).
We have some toy baskets that hang on small wire command hooks attached to his changing table.
The basket was on the floor and the hook was exposed.  As Parker was cruising the changing table he slipped and fell, eye first, on the hook.  It went into his eye at the tear duct and I had to remove said hook.  I am still having horror movie type nightmares.
We went to Cook's ER and saw a Ophthalmologist who determined that he needed stitches in his eyelid and while he was under he would look at his tear duct and tear duct tubes (my technical words)  and the rest of his eye to make sure there was no further damage.
Parker's tear ducts were damaged and needed a stint that will be removed later but his eye was not hurt at all!
So he will have no permanent damage other than the small possibility of a scar on his eye lid.
Surgery was around 7:00pm last night and we had him home in bed around 11:00pm.  He woke up about 7:00am and after nursing he took multiple rounds around the house on his shopping cart then proceeded to cruise the walls and furniture as if nothing happened yesterday.
Praise God he made babies to be incredibly self healing and resilient!
